At Elm Tree Community Primary School, our Physical Education curriculum is designed to ignite a passion for movement and sport in every pupil. We believe that all pupils should experience the joy of being active and aim to empower each pupil to reach their full sporting potential through engaging, inclusive, and enjoyable physical activities.
Our PE lessons offer a broad range of opportunities that help pupils build essential physical skills, develop self-esteem, and grow in confidence. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, ensuring that all pupils feel valued and part of our supportive school community.
We recognise the vital role sport plays in fostering connections and teamwork. Our goal is to ensure every pupil finds their place in the world of physical activity, whether through competitive sports, team games, or fun activity days. Pupils have opportunities to represent the school in various events and are encouraged to participate in competitions beyond the school environment.
Understanding the strong link between physical activity and overall well-being, we empower pupils to appreciate how movement benefits their physical, mental, and social health.
