On Monday the 6th of November Millie and Brody attended the first Pupil Parliament of this school year.  Along with other children from local primary schools they learnt about how Parliament works, the  type of decisions politicians are involved in, and the way that laws get changed or passed.

 

They listened to candidate speeches and voted for this years Pupil Parliament Prime Minister and Deputy Prime minister.

 

At the next Pupil Parliament meeting the children will be debating issues surrounding the dangerous dog act and recent changes to this law.
