An opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Teaching Assistant 2b, working alongside our classroom Teaching staff and Therapy team to support the learning and social needs of our wonderful children. You will provide support to pupils on an individual or small group basis. Two permanent posts are available. 

The posts are term time plus INSET training days, totalling 39 weeks per year, salary is pro rata'd accordingly. Working 32.5 hours per week, these reflect school hours, plus meeting/briefing time. There may also be an opportunity to join our very successful transport service on a casual basis, paid at an enhanced rate, as a Home School Liaison officer. Here you would accompany small groups of children at the start/end of the day on our fleet of minibuses that provide home/school transport for our pupils daily. 

As the curriculum offered at Elm Tree is varied and active, a uniform is provided to Teaching Assistant staff. 

Staff development is well supported and provided for, so this opportunity may be of interest to both new and experienced Teaching Assistant staff.

An opportunity has arisen to join the growing administrative team as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist working alongside our two other school Administrators and Business Manager. Elm Tree is a growing school and the vacancy is due to the current postholder moving into a more advanced administrative role. The postholder will spend the majority of their time as Receptionist; assisting staff, visitors and pupils and acting as communication hub for the school. There will be administrative tasks to complete such as typing documents and letters, updating pupil data and contacting parents. The school uses Capita SIMS database so some knowledge of this would be an advantage - however full training can be given. 

The post is term time plus INSET training days, totalling 39 weeks per year, salary is pro rata'd accordingly. For the right candidate the school will consider between 25 and 35 hours per week - worked over five days - Monday to Friday. 

A uniform is provided to all staff at Elm Tree. 

Staff development is well supported and provided for, so this opportunity may be of interest to both new and experienced school administrative staff.
