Elm Tree Community Primary School is a specialist school catering for children who have a statement for Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Teaching Assistant 2B - 32.5 hours per week - £9.94 an hour - Permanent

We are looking for teaching assistant interested in developing their career. Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is not essential as we are looking for an individual that is passionate about working with children and is willing to support our vision. We currently have 116 children on roll. You will join a team that is passionately committed to harnessing the educational potential of all our children whilst encouraging them to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check will be sought for the successful candidate.
