Our extended services provision plays a vital role in supporting our pupils and families, providing a range of inclusive, enriching and child-centred opportunities beyond the normal school day and during school holidays.

  • We offer a free breakfast club daily from 8:15am to 8:45am
  • We will also be setting up a paid after-school club every day, ensuring pupils have access to additional care, support and meaningful activities. More information will be posted on this once we have confirmed all timings.

Throughout the school holidays, we also provide a number of holiday club sessions, offering a wide variety of exciting experiences, including outdoor activities:

  • musical experiences
  • visits to attractions such as LEGOLAND
  • sensory sessions and LEGO-based activities

All holiday provision is carefully planned around the interests, needs and abilities of our pupils, with places allocated as fairly as possible, taking into consideration staffing capacity and individual children’s needs. Our extended services are funded through Lancashire Break Time, and we also welcome children from outside Lancashire, although additional charges apply. Transport is provided for children who reside within Lancashire.

Beyond our regular clubs and holiday provision, our extended services offer further opportunities to broaden pupils’ experiences, develop independence and build confidence through evening enrichment activities, overnight residentials and longer-stay residential experiences. As a school, we are passionate about ensuring that every child has access to meaningful opportunities, new experiences and lasting memories, enabling them to develop essential life skills and enjoy experiences that enrich their lives both within and beyond the school environment.

Our holiday clubs run throughout the year on the following schedule: -

  • Autumn Holidays (3 days)
  • Spring Holidays (3 days)
  • Easter Holidays (4 days)
  • Summer Holidays (2 days)
  • Main Summer Holidays (8 days)
